Beast of Paradise, established in Boxtel and registered in the trade register of the Kamer van Koophandel under number 62229389. The following policy applies to the protection of your privacy.

Beast of Paradise will guarantee the privacy of all users of its site and we will at all times ensure that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. We will only use your data to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. Otherwise, we will only use this data with your permission.

Beast of Paradise will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only make it available to third parties that are involved in processing your order.

Beast of Paradise uses the collected data to provide its customers with the following services: If you place an order, we need your name, e-mail address, delivery address and payment details to process your order and to inform you of its progress hold.

This allows us to make the website more personal. We may use your e-mail address to provide you with information about the development of our website and about our special offers and promotions. Shop Policy

Dispatch

The processing time of an order is one business day. When it is placed in the morning, it may be sent the same day. However, this is not always possible, in which case the order will be offered to the shipping company the next business day.

 

If the order has been presented to the shipping company, it generally takes 1 to 2 working days before it is delivered to you (within the Netherlands).

 

Delivery times for foreign shipments differ per destination and may be subject to customs*, weather conditions, undercrowded shipping companies (particularly in Oct, Nov and Dec) and the distance. Because these can cause delays, it is not possible to determine an exact delivery time. 

Within Europe it can take 8 to 15 business days, while outside Europe this can take up to 20 to 30 business days or more. 

 

To get more clarity about your order and the progress, it is possible to choose the shipping option, Track & Trace, at checkout.

 

Should the order be significantly delayed, please send me a message and I will do my very best to help you where possible.

 

* When you order from outside Europe, customs costs may be charged when the package arrives in the country of destination. I cannot predict what the costs will be. Preferably order via Etsy, they have the option to pay these costs immediately.

Cancellations are accepted.

Return

Returning items is no problem. 

Please contact me within 7 days of receipt. Items must be returned within 21 days of receipt.

 

Return conditions

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any depreciation. If the item has been returned in good conditions the item costs will be refunded to your account. It is not possible to refund the shipping costs already incurred.

 

Exchanges

I do not accept exchanges, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions:

• Additional Agreement: an agreement whereby the customer acquires products in connection with a distance contract and these items are delivered by Beast of Paradise or by a third party based on an arrangement between that third party and Beast of Paradise;

• Reflection period: the period within which the customer can make use of his right of withdrawal;

• Customer: the natural person who is not acting for purposes related to his trade, business, craft or profession;

• Day: calendar day;

• Duration agreement: an agreement that extends to the regular delivery of goods during a certain period;

• Durable data carrier: any tool - including e-mail - that enables the customer or Beast of Paradise to store information that is personally addressed to him in a way that allows future consultation or use during a period that is tailored to the purpose for which the information is intended, and which allows unaltered reproduction of the stored information;

• Right of withdrawal: the option of the customer to waive the distance contract within the cooling-off period;

• Beast of Paradise: the natural or legal person who offers products to customers at a distance;

• Distance agreement: an agreement that is concluded between Beast of Paradise and the customer in the context of a system for the distance sale of products, in which, up to and including the conclusion of the agreement, one or more techniques for remote communication;

• Technique for distance communication: means that can be used to conclude an agreement, without the customer and Beast of Paradise having to meet in the same room at the same time.

Article 3 - Applicability

• These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer from Beast of Paradise and to every distance agreement concluded between Beast of Paradise and the customer.

• Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these General Terms and Conditions will be made available to the customer. The General Terms and Conditions are also available on the site: www.beastofparadise.nl

• If the distance contract is concluded electronically, contrary to the previous paragraph and before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these General Terms and Conditions can be made available to the customer electronically in such a way that the customer can can be easily stored on a durable data carrier. If this is not reasonably possible, before the distance contract is concluded, it will be indicated where the General Terms and Conditions can be read electronically and that they will be sent free of charge at the request of the customer electronically or otherwise.

 

Article 4 - The offer

• If an offer has a limited period of validity or is subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.

• The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow a proper assessment of the offer by the customer. If Beast of Paradise uses images, these are a true representation of the products offered (Unless stated otherwise).

• Obvious mistakes or obvious errors in the offer do not bind Beast of Paradise.

• Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the customer what rights and obligations are attached to the acceptance of the offer.

 

Article 5 - The agreement

• Subject to the provisions of paragraph 4, the agreement is concluded at the time of acceptance by the customer of the offer and compliance with the corresponding conditions.

• If the customer has accepted the offer electronically by means of payment by bank transfer, IDEAL, Paypal or credit card, the purchase-sale agreement has been concluded between the customer and Beast of Paradise.

• When the agreement is concluded electronically, Beast of Paradise will take appropriate measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and ensure a safe web environment. See also Beast of Paradise's privacy policy. For electronic payment by the customer, Beast of Paradise will take appropriate security measures.

• Beast of Paradise can - within legal frameworks - inform itself whether the customer can meet his payment obligations, as well as all those facts and factors that are important for a responsible conclusion of the distance contract. If, on the basis of this investigation, Beast of Paradise has good reasons not to enter into the agreement, it is entitled to refuse an order or request with reasons, or to attach special conditions to the implementation.

 

Article 6 - The price/taxes

• After a product has been ordered, the product will be delivered at the price as stated on the website at the time of order. An exception to this is a price change due to changes in VAT rates.

• The prices stated in the range of products include VAT.

• NB! Take into account any import duties, VAT and other additional import charges for countries outside the EU. Beast of Paradise is not responsible for these charges as they are imposed by your country's government.

• There are no import duties within the EU. All costs charged by your country in relation to my products will always be borne by the buyer.

Article 7 - Compliance with the agreement and extra guarantee

• • Beast of Paradise guarantees that the products comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, and the reasonable requirements of soundness.

  • A guarantee provided by Beast of Paradise never limits the legal rights and claims that the customer can assert against Beast of Paradise on the basis of the agreement if Beast of Paradise has failed to comply with the agreement.

Article 8 - Delivery and execution

• • Beast of Paradise will take the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders for products.

  • The place of delivery is the address that the customer has made known to Beast of Paradise.

  • With due observance of what is stated in article 4 of these General Terms and Conditions, Beast of Paradise will execute accepted orders expeditiously but at the latest within 30 days, unless another delivery period has been agreed. If the delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot or only partially be executed, the customer will be notified of this no later than 30 days after he has placed the order. In that case, the customer has the right to dissolve the agreement without costs and the right to compensation that corresponds to the amount paid for the part of the order in which Beast of Paradise has not fulfilled its obligations.

  • After dissolution in accordance with the previous paragraph, Beast of Paradise will immediately refund the amount that the customer has paid.

  • The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Beast of Paradise until the moment of delivery to the customer or a pre-designated representative made known to Beast of Paradise, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

 

Article 9 - Payment

• • Unless otherwise stipulated in the agreement or additional conditions, the amounts owed by the customer must be paid immediately by bank transfer, IDEAL, Paypal or credit card.

  • The customer has the obligation to immediately report inaccuracies in payment details provided or stated to Beast of Paradise.

  • The purchase agreement is concluded by ordering the desired products and direct payment as indicated.

Article 10 - Complaints procedure

• • Beast of Paradise has a complaints procedure to invoke product warranty or damage to the packaging and thus the delivered product by shipment.

  • Complaints about the implementation of the agreement must be fully and clearly described within 3 days after the customer has discovered the defects (a photo is required in case of damage). Complaints are submitted via email: beastofparadise@gmail.com

  • Complaints submitted to Beast of Paradise will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeable longer processing time, Beast of Paradise will respond within the period of 14 days with a notice of receipt and an indication when the customer can expect a more detailed answer.

  • The customer must give Beast of Paradise at least 4 weeks to resolve the complaint in mutual consultation. After this period, a dispute arises that is subject to the dispute settlement procedure.

Article 11 - Disputes

• • Only Dutch law applies to agreements between Beast of Paradise and the customer to which these General Terms and Conditions apply.

Article 12 - Additional or deviating provisions

Additional or deviating provisions from these General Terms and Conditions may not be to the detriment of the customer and must be recorded in writing or in such a way that the customer can store them in an accessible manner on a durable data carrier.
