The original illustrations are drawn with colour pencil and printed on recycled 170g paper. The cover is made from heavier paper. 
This paper is 100% post-consumer (PCR) used paper and therefore no trees have been cut for it. The paper is off-white and has a subtle fiber. This gives it a beautiful natural appearance and it is easy to write on.
